Nanlang People\u2019s<\/span> Hospital of Zhongshan \u00a0<\/strong>Gao Yang<\/p>\n

Objective<\/strong> To discuss the misdiagnosis reasons for low hyperopic astigmatism<\/span>\uff0c<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>measures to reduce the rate of<\/span> misdiagnosis and improve the accuracy of diagnosis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Methods<\/strong> Analysis the patient’s clinical material of 18 misdiagnosis cases about low hyperopic astigmatism in other hospitals from May 2006 to June 2009.<\/p>\n

Results<\/strong> 8 cases misdiagnosed as suspected glaucoma, and 6 cases misdiagnosed as neurovascular headache, each 2 cases misdiagnosed as Meniere’s syndrome or neurasthenia. Our hospital after diagnosis, after \u00a0retinoscopy \u00a0optometric treatment to good effect.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/strong> The detailed gathering of medical historys and the comprehensive medical examination is the\u00a0key to enhances the diagnosis rate, to reduces misdiagnosis.<\/p>\n
